
Remote and Distance Treatments
I offer a range of remote treatment options for clients who are unable to attend a session in person due to distance, ill-health, work or family commitments.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy therapy. It works on the basis that any problem, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, causes a disruption or energy ‘blockage’ in the body. Reiki seeks to gently remove these blockages and encourage the body to rebalance.
During the session, clients often feel deeply relaxed. You may also experience other sensations such as heat/coolness or tingling in parts of or the whole body.
Following the session, many clients report experiencing relaxation, a reduction of stress, improved mood, better sleep, and boosted energy levels, as well as a range of other benefits as the body begins to rebalance.
As Reiki is an energy therapy, distance is no barrier to the treatment. Reiki can be ‘sent’ from the practitioner to the recipient, who will experience the treatment in exactly the same way as an in-person session.
What to expect from a Distance Reiki session
If you’d like to book a Distant Reiki session, please get in touch and we can arrange a mutually convenient time. At your appointment time you’ll need to take yourself somewhere quiet (perhaps your bed or sofa) where you can relax, undisturbed for the duration of the session. Once you are ready and comfortable, I will begin sending the Reiki. Following the treatment, I’ll message you with a written summary of my findings and answer any questions you may have.

What is Thought Field Therapy?
Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is a groundbreaking treatment aimed at providing rapid relief from all kinds of emotional problems.
Thought Field Therapy may help in the resolution of the following negative emotions:

At its highest level of proficiency, Thought Field Therapy has an unprecedented success rate of up to 97%, evidenced by a study carried out in 1986 and replicated in 1996 and 1998. I am a TFT Diagnostic Practitioner. In trials, Diagnostic Practitioners have a consistent success rate of around 95%.

What is Talking Therapy?
Remember that old BT advert, “It’s good to talk”? Talking therapy is exactly that! A chance to talk. Sometimes we need a listening ear; a space to talk openly about what is going on in our lives; an opportunity to process the thoughts in our heads.
Many people find it difficult to talk openly with friends or family, so speaking to someone impartial, can be hugely beneficial.
During this session, I will act as a sounding board, offering an empathetic and non-judgemental ear to help you work through any problems. It may just be an opportunity to let off steam and release anything that has been troubling you, as I offer support and gentle guidance about possible ways to move forward.
Talking Therapy can be helpful to explore a range of issues, including health anxieties, relationship problems or work stresses.

What is Hand Reflexology?
Hand Reflexology works exactly like Foot Reflexology – restoring balance to the body by working the reflexes of the hand. It is often performed by a therapist, working directly on a client’s hands, but it’s also a very easy practice to perform on yourself, with a little guidance.

What to expect from a video call
Hand Reflexology session
We will start the call with our usual catch up, to discuss how you have been doing and your current health/wellbeing. (If this is your first session with me, I will complete an initial health and wellbeing consultation with you, to establish your current health. Please allow an extra 15-30 minutes for an initial consultation. This is free of charge.)
We will then begin the treatment with some relaxing deep breathing exercises and gentle hand massage techniques.
I will then guide you through a full Hand Reflexology treatment. Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before as I will talk you through each move, step by step, demonstrating on my own hands as we go. I will tailor the sequence to your needs, based on any specific issues you may have and your expectations of treatment, such as increased relaxation or improved sleep.
We will finish the treatment with some more relaxing hand massage moves and deep breathing.
After the treatment, I will also give you any relevant aftercare advice, as usual, as to things you may do at home to support your wellbeing between sessions.
